The Hawaii State Chapter Red Cross volunteers responded to 84 fire incidents this past year, meeting with 107 families to discuss their immediate emergency needs in the aftermath of a fire related disaster. Services provided included distribution of immediate emergency items like comfort kits or clean-up kits, financial assistance, health assessments, crisis counseling, information and referrals.
