Fundraising
Potential donors should be confident that any fundraising for the Red Cross is legitimate and that all donations will go to the Red Cross. Representatives of the Red Cross should present themselves professionally and with pride, especially when seeking donations or contributions for the Red Cross. Still need ideas on how to fundraise??? How about cell phone recycling? Hawaii Red Cross recycles through CRC Wireless. To sign up, click here. Once you sign up, the cell phone recycling company will send you a kit and posters with our name on it, and labels with pre-paid postage to send the phones back to them. They don't give you any special box – just use any box - and you need to have at least 10 phones in the box. They will send you an accounting of your donation and at the same time send a check to us. They will give you more labels every time you send them phones, and you can request more labels and posters at any time, free of charge.
