When do we start?
The beginning of the school year is a good time to enlist the help of a teacher or counselor to advise your group and to recruit members. Set a regular and convenient time (weekly, bi-monthly or monthly) to meet.
Get organized: Recruit new members (flyers, bulleting, freshman orientation, word of mouth)
How to sign up as a Red Cross Club Member
Open the link below to the Red Cross Youth Volunteer Form and enter your data online. NOTE: You must know your medical insurance plan, subscriber name and policy number in order to complete your online application, so get this information from your parents in advance. These are mandatory fields in the online application. Once you have completed entering data online, you MUST print out the downloadable form and get your parent’s or guardian’s signature on the last page. You will not be approved as a volunteer unless this signature of consent is received. Turn in only the last signed page of the form to your Red Cross Club advisor (who will then submit it to the Red Cross' Red Cross Club liaison). Any Red Cross Club adviser or member who is 18 years or older should complete the Red Cross background check. The registration form can be mailed to ARC headquarters or submitted at the Matson Beach Cleanup at Keehi Lagoon.
Required Events for all Clubs:
