In celebration of Red Cross Month, volunteers will accept donations from supporters at Walmart stores Statewide from March 30th to April 1st and at three street locations on Oahu on April 1st.
Off duty firefighters, military, club, pageant participants, Human Animal Bond and individual volunteers will take their hats off to salute the American Red Cross and ask the public to fill their hats with donations.
We would like to thank the companies that generously support the Hats Off Fundraiser:
Walmart
Aloha Air Cargo
Coca-Cola Company
Hawaiian Isles Water Company
Subway
Your support is important to the success of this fundraiser, and we appreciate your help in furthering our mission. Thank you!
Last year, over 1,500 volunteers collected $85,000 Statewide during the three-day fundraiser.
Supporters can also go online at www.hawaiiredcross.org to make a donation.
The fundraiser will support the lifesaving mission of the American Red Cross.
On April 1, 2 and 3, 2011 volunteers collected over $100,000 to support disasters and services in our community. Volunteers accepted donations at various street corners, while others braved the crowds at shopping centers. The volunteers and supporters are the driving force behind the success of the Hats Off Fundraiser. Thank you!
